Security Officer Part - Time Overnights

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter of a logistics and distribution location to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and direct deliveries and personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site management and/or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related observations through required reports and communication channels.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.22 / hour

• Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
