Security Officer Part Time Overnight

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry credentials, document visitor and contractor arrivals, and direct individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to loading areas, employee entrances, and restricted operational spaces while reporting unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Utilize the “Claim a Shift” platform to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $18.64 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime – Thursday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM; Friday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM.
