What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
- Screens personnel, visitors, packages, and/or shipments entering or leaving the location in accordance with site procedures, documenting findings and reporting concerns to site leadership when needed.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry into controlled areas such as loading, sorting, and shipping/receiving spaces.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with security-related investigations and preparing clear, accurate reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, potential hazards, and/or policy violations within varying indoor and outdoor working conditions.

Minimum Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
