As a Security Officer Screening Associate Part Time in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screens individuals, packages, bags, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and shipping or receiving procedures.
• Verify identification, access credentials, manifests, and/or delivery documentation to help support authorized movement throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or access concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Requirements

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a valid driver's license for driving positions only.

Skills

• X-Ray screening experience.
• Customer service experience.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Access control and/or badge experience.
• Loss prevention experience.
