Security Officer Part Time Morning Shift

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location in Midland, TX, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and remain visible to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a professional environment. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, spills, suspicious activity, and other security-related issues to designated site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with access control and badge procedures is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Note: At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Part-time, day shift: Wednesday and Thursday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
