As a Security Officer Part Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Goldsboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls. This unarmed Patrol Officer position at a retail mall location involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. The role requires a valid driver's license and involves delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, and care.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, property damage, and policy violations according to established procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, property representatives, tenants, and local authorities as directed.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
