What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with site procedures, and document screening-related activity as required.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and report access concerns, unusual activity, and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, notifications, and incident documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, and other high-traffic locations.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
