Security Officer Part Time Medical Rover

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate staff.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, patient areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions, entry procedures, and general questions while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or policy-related issues accurately and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour
• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday — 03:00 PM to 11:30 PM
