As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Assist with visitor management, directions, and access-related questions while maintaining a professional presence in patient-care and public areas.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
