Security Officer Part Time Hospital Patrol

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe the movement of visitors, staff, and vendors in accordance with site policies for a medical environment.
- Support Allied Universal and location personnel during medical emergencies, alarms, and other urgent situations by communicating clearly and assisting with prescribed response procedures.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Able to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
