Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility policies, assisting with directions and access-related inquiries as appropriate.
