Security Officer Part Time Facility Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the financial institution location, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support site policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.50 / Hour

Schedule

• Day shift: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday shifts available
