As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and tenants. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exterior perimeter, and vacant spaces, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor guidance, vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow, and other security-related duties that support a positive retail environment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements, with at least one year of driving history.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
