Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a corporate technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor and/or contractor access according to site procedures.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, hazards, and unusual conditions, and promptly communicate findings to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
