Security Officer - Part Time Driver
About the role
Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Driver Security Officer in Peoria, IL, to serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, and shift activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements
Requirements
- Valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferred
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred

$18.50 / Hour
Schedule
Day Time: Monday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Thursday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Friday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
