Security Officer Part Time Dispatch Operations Security Clearance

About the role

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part‑Time Dispatch Operations Security Officer in King of Prussia, PA. The position supports aerospace and defense clients, coordinating security communications, monitoring alarms and access control, and dispatching response resources while providing professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors while following security procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Dispatch security personnel to incidents, service requests, alarms, and critical situations using established communication protocols.
• Monitor incoming calls, radio traffic, alarms, and electronic systems; document incident details, dispatch actions, and follow‑up information accurately.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, communicating relevant information to site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned business areas and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and helping deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret clearance (verification required during pre‑employment screening).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Alarm panel experience (preferred).
• Access control and badge management experience (preferred).
• Proficiency with computers or tablets (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions (if applicable).
• Successful completion of background investigation and drug screening as required by law.

Pay

$28.58 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime shifts with weekend coverage: Saturday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Sunday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM.
