Security Officer Part Time Credentialing

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, screen visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries, and document access activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and/or unusual activity through appropriate reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support security-related operations by maintaining visitor logs, issuing temporary credentials, communicating with site personnel, and reporting maintenance, access, and/or policy concerns.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills
