About the role
As an Access Control Officer at a leading automotive location, you will manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will help to deter incidents through a professional, visible presence while communicating clearly with visitors and team members. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor check-in procedures, and maintain accurate access-related records.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of designated automotive facility areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help identify unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, access-related concerns, and required documentation.
Requirements
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$17.50 / Hour
Schedule
- Day shift: Saturday 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
- Night shift: Sunday 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
