Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in support of location access protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
- Support shipping and distribution operations by helping to manage traffic flow at gates, screening authorized vehicles, and maintaining accurate logs of arrivals, departures, and key access-related events.
Requirements
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
