Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or personal belongings in accordance with site procedures to help support authorized access and compliance with location rules.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to post requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to loading, shipping, receiving, and other operational areas where security-related concerns may arise.

Minimum Requirements

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
