As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will conduct routine bicycle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay
- $18.30 / Hour
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs. is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
