As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Clifton, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including entry points, customer areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site-specific procedures; report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete required reports, logs, and shift communications accurately and maintain a professional presence while representing Allied Universal.

Requirements

• Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Must have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

$21.00 per hour

Schedule

DayTimeSat 09:00 AM - 02:00 PM (fixed shift commitment with option to claim additional shifts via Claim‑A‑Shift program; six‑month anchor shift commitment; ability to earn more by picking up extra shifts; part‑time hours with potential to scale up to 40 hours per week)
