Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Monitor and control access at entry points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor and contractor badges, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized individuals according to site requirements.
• Screen vehicles, deliveries, and personnel entering restricted areas in accordance with established procedures, escalating unusual or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific reporting and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, business facilities, and perimeter locations to identify and report security‑related concerns.
• Remain visible, communicate clearly, and help deter incidents while working with integrity and teamwork.
• Represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and caring culture in this driving position.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license required (per Allied Universal driver policy; required for driving positions only).
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• State, county, or city‑issued security‑related license preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories considered consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
