Security Officer - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Affords assistance with written reports concerning security incidents involving guests, employees, and/or the property.
• Accompanies and monitors guests and employees to ensure their safety and protection.
• Detects potential safety hazards and reports them to the relevant person for resolution.
• Knows about hazardous materials used on the property and complies with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
• Serves as a dispatcher during emergencies, coordinating solutions as needed.
• Informs external agencies about any unusual or suspicious situations on the property.
• Operates company vehicles as directed.
• Ensures secure transportation of company monies and gaming tokens.
• Assists in the opening and closing of gaming tables.
• Maintains a high level of guest service and satisfaction throughout the property.
• Lives by the Hard Rock values.
• Facilitates the exchange of information within the property by attending regular departmental meetings.
• Maintains a set of keys for accessing locked areas, as necessary.
• Requests and accepts identification from individuals who seem to be under the age of 21 to ensure compliance with federal and state gaming regulations.
• Enforces the Mission Statement – We create authentic experiences that rock.
• Represents Hard Rock Biloxi positively towards guests, colleagues, supervisors, and vendors.

• Can stand for an eight-hour shift.
• Has basic reading and math skills.
