Security Officer- Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site-specific access procedures, verifying credentials, and supporting security-related protocols at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, manage visitor registration, and help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining accurate logs and reporting irregular activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to observe conditions and report maintenance, access, and/or security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, enforce site policies, and assist with badge checks, deliveries, and other access control-related duties.

Requirements

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver's license for driving positions only.
