Security Officer - Part Time
About the role
As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in Robards, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with location management and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor for unusual behavior, access issues, and/or operational concerns, and report observations that could impact people, property, or daily business activities.
- Support closing and opening activities, crowd flow monitoring, and/or access control practices as directed, while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
