Security Officer Part Time

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer fluent in Spanish, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the financial institution, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts and/or suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and security-related concerns through accurate reports and timely communication with Allied Universal and designated site personnel.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in Spanish.
• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$17.00 / hour

• Saturday: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sunday: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
