As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will use screening equipment to help identify prohibited items, support controlled access, and contribute to a secure environment for people, packages, and operations. You will remain attentive, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service while helping to deter security-related incidents. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or property in accordance with site procedures, using approved screening equipment and protocols.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documentation, and authorization for entry into restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Position Type: Part Time. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour. Schedule: DayTime Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
