Security Officer - Part Time Armed Patrol Driver

The Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position provides a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands‑on experience, or work toward a full‑time career with the industry leader. As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver in Roseville, CA, you will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule (fixed‑shift commitment) with a six‑month commitment. In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through the scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next, scaling up to 40 hours per week when desired and scaling back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor assigned areas of a government law‑enforcement facility and report unusual activity, hazards, policy concerns, and security‑related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with law‑enforcement personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access‑related records in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal procedures.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of security‑related experience.
• Valid driver’s license (required per Allied Universal driver policy).
• Armed guard card or license.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation (federal, state, and local laws).
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
