Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Use computer or tablet systems to support access control, badge processing, alarm panel response, and X-ray screening activities. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while supporting a professional, customer-focused environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Customer service experience (preferred)
• X-ray screening experience (preferred)
• Alarm panel experience (preferred)
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred)

• Saturday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
