Security Officer Part Time Afternoon Patrol Driver

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related responsibilities at an educational location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, facility concerns, policy violations, and maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific guidelines.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver‑policy requirements (required for driving positions).
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 + years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.

Pay

$15.00 per hour.

Schedule

Part‑time, daytime shifts: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
