As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help manage access points, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and support a welcoming environment. You will remain visible, communicate clearly, document security-related activity, and help address access concerns while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to healthcare facilities, restricted areas, and employee-only locations by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining required access records.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, parking areas, and the surrounding property to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit processes while communicating professionally with healthcare personnel, vendors, delivery personnel, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $15.95 / Hour

Schedule: DayTime, Saturday 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Sunday 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM
