Security Officer Part Time Access Control Attendant

Position Type: Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization and credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and direct individuals according to site requirements.
• Respond to access‑control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, work areas, and the perimeter to identify and report security‑related concerns, unauthorized entry, or unusual activity.
• Maintain clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access‑control logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Undergo a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, depending on state and/or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Daytime – Saturday 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM; Sunday 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
