Security Officer - Packaging Facility

As a Security Officer - Packaging Facility in Mullins, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production, warehouse, shipping and receiving, parking, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for employees, visitors, and delivery personnel, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Observe facility conditions and report potential hazards, damaged property, or unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Schedule

• Monday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Tuesday: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM
