About the Role

As a Security professional, you are among the most valued associates at our properties. Your presence and knowledge reassure both residents and guests that the safety and security of the property is being properly cared for by a dedicated and detail-oriented associate.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and operating electric and manual security control systems and emergency response systems.
• Accurately maintaining daily logs, records, and forms.
• Responding to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Following safety procedures and striving to maintain a safe work environment.
• Patrolling, walking the property, and staffing the gatehouse.
• Reporting all property violations.

Requirements

• Possess and maintain a Class D Security license.
• Possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.
• Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and communicate successfully with residents and team members.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in various positions, including but not limited to stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs and navigate the property/building quickly and easily as required.
• Ability to work extended and flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
• Ability to repeat various motions with the wrists, hands, and fingers.

Schedule

Days and times vary based on the needs of the property.

Benefits

As a part-time non-exempt associate, you will be eligible for full supplemental benefits, including dental and vision. Occasional travel may be required to attend training and other company functions.

Pay

$20 per hour.
