About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
- Monitor access points and public areas, verify credentials when required, and provide directions and assistance in accordance with established procedures.
- Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations through clear and accurate reports, and promptly communicate concerns to Allied Universal and designated site personnel.
Requirements
- A Private Investigator License for an unarmed role is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
