Security Officer - Overnight Part-Time

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, help to deter incidents through a visible presence, and provide professional customer service. Using your communication and computer skills, you will support a secure, welcoming environment while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Pay

$21.00 per hour.

Schedule

Part‑time overnight shifts: Monday, Friday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
