About the role
As a Security Officer in Kenosha, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine rounds, assist with access control and badge-related activities, document observations using computer or tablet technology, and deliver professional customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a logistics and warehouse environment.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the exterior perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and reports of security-related activity.
- Observe and report unusual conditions, facility hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
