As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Entry Authorization in Topton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access control points by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, issuing access materials as authorized, and reporting access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and access-control records, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
