Security Officer - Open Shifts

Responsibilities

• Diligent patrols of the campus interior and perimeter using a mobile guard patrol system, including offsite facilities.
• Proficient documentation of every shift through daily activity reports.
• Responding to and documenting workplace related injuries and incidents.
• Managing access control across campus facilities.
• Arming the alarm panels with regards to our standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to pass a Criminal background and Drug-screen.
• A clean Driving record is a MUST.
• Proficient customer service skills.
• Positive morale, and team player.
• Previous experience required.
• BSIS guard card is a MUST.

Physical Demands

• Incumbents are regularly required to use hands, talk, and hear.
• Frequently required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and smell.
• Occasionally are required to stand, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Required to mount and dismount vehicles.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
• The noise level is generally moderate.
