Security Officer - Morning Part-Time

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution in Tempe, AZ, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs. This is a part-time, morning position with a flexible schedule built through our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit operations.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and unusual activity in required reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles).
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.

$20.00 / hour

• Tuesday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wednesday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
