Security Officer - Morning Mobile Patrols

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol a construction location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report conditions, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. A valid driver's license is required for this driving position.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate
• Conduct regular and random patrols of construction-related areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized entry, or property concerns
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors, and maintain required entry and activity records
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel
• Report observed hazards, damaged barriers, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred
• Access control/badge experience is preferred
• Loss prevention experience is preferred

Schedule

• Day Time, Thursday through Sunday, 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

• $21.16 / Hour
