Security Officer - Mondays Only

About the role

This is a flexible, dependable part-time enhanced security officer position designed for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career. As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening Reception in Indianapolis, IN, you’ll have a fixed base schedule with the option to pick up additional shifts for increased earnings and experience.

This role requires a six (6) month commitment to your designated site and weekly shift. You can scale your hours up to 40 per week or adjust as needed, making it ideal for those seeking income stability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, and belongings entering designated areas in accordance with applicable procedures and site requirements.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct inspections as assigned, identifying prohibited or unauthorized items and reporting findings to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Schedule

• DayTime Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

You’ll have a fixed base schedule with the flexibility to claim additional shifts through our scheduling platform to increase earnings or gain experience across multiple sites.

Pay

$17.22 / hour
