Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver - Second Shift

About the role

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Shakopee, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and basic site information, and report unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and timely in accordance with site requirements.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Pay

$21.60 / Hour

Schedule

• Position Type: Full Time
• Day/Time: Monday – Friday, 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
