Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Hempstead, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and applicable emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility operations areas, equipment locations, buildings, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Complete accurate patrol, incident, and daily activity reports, communicating observations involving facility infrastructure or electronic systems to site leadership.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Schedule: Daytime, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
