About the role
As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Springfield, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as healthcare. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of clinic buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures to maintain an orderly environment for patient care.
- Complete required reports, activity logs, and incident documentation accurately and promptly.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay
$18.54 per hour.
