About the Role
GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Response Security Officer. This role requires adaptability to handle various tasks, from customer service to patrols and surveillance, depending on the day and special events.
Site Location and Schedule
Location: Portsmouth, VA
Schedule: Full-time, Wednesday-Saturday, 3rd shift (11:00pm-7:00am)
Pay
Competitive hourly wage of $19.00 (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities
- Monitor the premises to ensure security
- Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
- Control access points and verify identities
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats 6li>Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
- Write detailed reports on events and incidents
- Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Active DCJS License
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass an extensive screening process
- Quick thinking and adaptability to changing situations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience preferred
- State license if required
