Security Officer Mobile Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Kearney, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Respond to security-related concerns with professionalism in a dynamic, collaborative workplace.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the technology-focused location, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity; report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and security-related hazards to site leadership.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
