Security Officer - Mobile Patrol

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Elko, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as healthcare. This is a full‑time, unarmed security position supporting a healthcare location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security‑related concerns, and provide professional customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site‑specific policies, assisting with directions and access control as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 + years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

Daytime shifts – Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
