Security Officer Medical Campus Patrol
About the role
As a Security Officer Medical Campus Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies throughout the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for security-related concerns, assist with visitor direction, and document observations, incidents, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Support emergency response activities by following post orders, assisting with access control during critical events, and helping occupants move through the location during disruptions and/or restricted access situations.
Requirements
- Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
